From romantic EBM with heavy trance influences to harsh instrumental dark electro featuring noise and industrial semitones — this is how you can describe the shift made by Russian formation Occulta through their seventh release, “Angst”.
The new LP takes you on a bad trip during which you will pass between fever and cold. Madness and psychosis will seize you on this journey so that you come back as a new person. Distorted synthesizer waves and noisy soundscape will give your mind a shake. The beat will guide you, ensuring that you appreciate your every step through the deep and dark atmosphere created by Occulta.
If you like Dawn of Ashes, Psyclone Nine, and Alien Vampires, then the air of cold, mechanic horror with “Angst” will be your next amazing personal discovery. Just take this and see you on the other side!

The Moscow industrial label, MIC LABEL proudly presents the re-mastered edition of the most recent album by Sergey Korotayev, one of the first Russian post-industrial musicians known for projects Holocoder and Gekata: “Verzweiflung” by WOID. The original edition was recorded between 2014 and 2015. The new, re-mastered sound will be available on CD.
“Verzweiflung” by Sergey’s side project, WOID, features old-school-style electronics, analog synthesizers, hidden samples and a touch of melancholy. Rather than being a conventional music album, the record represents a soundtrack for a movie where every single character and actor dies.
This is a dirge for the world as it is falling apart...

The Moscow Industrial project, Nazguly Boevoy Promzony (rus. “Назгулы Боевой Промзоны”, eng.: The Nazgul of the Industrial Battle Zone), ascends above the native land on the wings of thoughts with their debut album Zavert (eng. “Vortex”).
Founded in March 2018, the Nazgul blend the sulky charm of Russia’s industrial fjords with the majestic beauty of the universe created by J.R.R. Tolkien. This time, Mordor lies in snow but it hasn’t lost its grasp on creatures of the dark across Middle-earth. The Nazgul sing the praise of this world and a call for you to take part in adventures of risk and glory. Their battle drums, electric guitars, mesmerizing mouth harp, and aerial synthesizers will take you to a new world that you have never imagined before.
Can you hear the spirits of the Russian Death calling you to join the dark voyage?

The “Novaya Rasa” (eng. “New Race”) LP was released in 2017 as an extension of the musical concept that Holocoder brought to life with “The Hyperborea Sun” album: powerful monumental beats, minimalistic structures, and moderately aggressive singing. The lyrics in the new LP continue the topics of the harsh North, dying Europe, and the War that never ends.
“This album is my praise to the new human, as a creature so honest and unprejudiced that some may even find them senseless. However, their thoughts and beliefs are all about reaching the very essence of human nature, being part of the greater Nature and the North”, says Sergey Korotaev, the founder of Holocoder.
The “Novaya Rasa” album features Holocoder’s authentic EBM-based style with a slight touch of Dark Electro and Techno. One track, “Nebo Gorit” (eng. “The Sky Is on Fire”), musically stands out from the tracklist. While being an original song, it represents a tribute to the stylistics common to several artists, such as Frontline Assembly, Negative Format and others.
