Masha, a girl, lived in a hut where firewood crackled in the stove. In the evening, when the moon peeked out from behind the clouds, Masha was already tired. Her eyes were sticking together, and her hands were reaching out to her mother.

The cat gently laid her on the pillow and lay down next to her. He hugged her with his fluffy paws and purred softly.
Masha quickly fell asleep, lulled by the warmth and affection of her wise cat.
