BIO group was formed in 1990 (spring-summer). After the breakup of the group "Bioconstructor", Alexander Yakovlev invited Oleg Podkovyrov (Kostrov) from an electronic group in Zelenograd, as well as his friend Olga Voskonyan, to join the new project.
