After 5 years of silence, E-GENS - die-hard techno-romantics from Russia, appear in a new light and release another studio album with 15 songs in Russian! For more than 20 years, E-GENS have been known as an English-language band only. Today they present in native language: 10 songs from the album Fine! Shine! (2010), 2 songs from the album Renewed Light (2013), as well as 2 brand new songs - Heaven and Prometheus. In February 2018, the band signed a contract with ScentAir Records for the release of the album PROMETHEUS with a release date of April 15, 2018. As part of the support for the album, E-GENS plans to give a series of live-shows in the current and forthcoming year in different cities of Russia and the World. In 2019, the next studio compilation is being prepared for release. It will include songs in Russian from the album Renewed Light (2013), along with new songs that the band will record until the end of 2018.

The music of THE EVASION ON STAKE is heavily inspired by all the New Wave/Electro Genres of the 80s and was compared in many fanzine reviews to The Cure, Alien Sex Fiend, Depeche Mode, Cassandra Complex, Gary Numan, Soft Cell, OMD and many more. The style shows many New Wave-moments on one side and heavy EBM/Industrial influences on the other - the more rough/dancable side of THE EVASION ON STAKE is now presented on the CD „Noises And Prayers“ on ScentAir Records.
